ACE - "TO RANK HIGH"
In 2001, although per-pupil expenditures increased and class
size decreased in some grades, the dropout rate and the
number of students reading below grade level escalated. As a
matter of fact, even in 2003, one-third of fourth graders are
reading below grade level, and one third of high school
students do not write well enough for their grade levels. In
the short term, any combinations of reasons can be blamed
for the poor academic performance of students. Pointing the
finger does not, however, resolve the problem.
The Fais1 Consulting Group knew that we needed
to do
something to help students perform better in their academic
pursuits. With that charge in mind, the Fais1 Consulting
Group established ACE - American Centers
for Excellence.
ACE is a division of the Fais1 Consulting
Group; and it is a
full service supplemental educational organization. We had our
seasoned educational professionals develop the
comprehensive ACE Tutorial System ©; the
ACE Test
Prep System ©; and the ACE Parents' Workshops
©.
Our educators created goals, looked at scheduling concerns
and determined the best methods to enhance academic
achievement. The ultimate goal of ACE is to
enhance each
student's academic performance. We diagnose students'
problem areas. We work with them not only to improve
performance in those problems academic areas but also we
help them to learn how to avoid the transference of incorrect
comprehension patterns to other academic areas. We increase
the students' academic skill levels in READING, WRITING,
MATHEMATICS, AND OTHER SUBJRCTS; improve
their study habits; and help students score higher on
standardized examinations.
ACE offers a wide variety of tutorial options:
individual at
home; individual or in a group at one of our centers; in
tutorial sessions sponsored by organization; or by distance
over the internet. Whatever your budget, ACE
has the
solution for you to help your children achieve their
academic best.
